McLaren F1 Tshirt
The McLaren F1 is a high-performance sports car that was produced by McLaren Automotive between 1992 and 1998. It was designed by Gordon Murray and was the world's fastest production car at the time of its launch, with a top speed of 240 mph.
The F1 was powered by a BMW-sourced 6.1-liter V12 engine that produced 627 horsepower, which was coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox. The car had a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque chassis and featured advanced aerodynamics to optimize its performance.
During its production run, only 106 F1s were built, including 64 road cars, five prototypes, and 37 race cars. The F1 also achieved numerous motorsport successes, including victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995, where it finished 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 13th overall.
Today, the McLaren F1 is considered one of the greatest sports cars ever built and is highly sought after by collectors. Its legacy lives on in the modern McLaren Automotive lineup, which includes cars like the McLaren 720S and the McLaren Senna, which have inherited the F1's focus on performance, technology, and design.
